Dancesport Auckland Annual General Meeting
Awesome turnout of current members, new members and professionals at our meeting on Sunday 16th November at Birkenhead RSA. With around 40 people in attendance we more than met our quorum and it was lovely to see so many current dancers there showing interest. Julie Reynolds gave a great presentation on what to have in your kit with some very valuable 'best buys' advice.
Everyone who came received a voucher for complimentary entry to our Queen City Champs next May and the winner of the 2009 Season Competition Pass was Kirstin Spyve.
It was fantastic to see a great group of people put their hand up to be part of the 2009 Committee and it was the first time for a number of years that we had to ask those members present to vote for prospective committee members! Everyone who offered their services to the committee deserves a round of applause and with the many sub committees we plan no doubt we will be able to call on all those willing.
The committee for 2009 is;
President: Tom Allen
Vice President: Rebecca Blackshaw
Treasurer: Darrell Crozier
Secretary: Jo Nicholson
Committee - Debbie Rist, Debbie Petterd, Mary-Frances Wells, Laura Wells, Mathew Nicholson, Tyler Reynolds, Julie Reynolds, Colin Boyd, Darlene Dixon
We will introduce our new faces to you over the coming months.
The perfect opportunity for you to try your dancing out in a social environment. The tea dances run from 3-7pm every Sunday.
